Episode One - You Are Born To Be A Star

Yoona is walking back and forth in the living room of her house.

“Why haven’t they called yet?, she mumbles.

“Come on, come on! Call me!”

“Stop it, Yoona! I’m having a headache just by seeing you walking around like that!” shouts her mom.

“But omma, they already called Seohyun from next door 2 days ago..” said Yoona sadly.

“Am I not good enough for the academy, omma? I thought I gave my all for the audition…” mumbles Yoona while scratching her head.

Mrs. Im looked at her daughter, smiling and said, “I believe in you dear. Everyone in this family does. Don’t you believe in yourself?”

Yoona looked at her lovely mother and hug her. “I want to believe in myself, omma. Can I be a star?”

“Are you kidding me? When you were little, other kids were crying but you were singing. When other kids were jumping, you were dancing. Doesn’t that proved you are born to be a star?” said her mom while rubbing her daughter’s head.

Yoona smiled, no one knows how to comfort her like her mother, “I love you omma.”

Suddenly, the phone rings. They looked at each other for a moment and then Yoona pick up the phone.

“Hello this is Im’s family resident, Yoona speaking..”

“Hello, we’re calling from S.M. Academy and I would like to inform you that you passed our audition and required to report yourself to the office this Friday.” said the voice at the other end of the receiver.

“Wha..what? You’re kidding sir. I passed the audition? Really?”

“I’m not kidding! You really passed the audition Im Yoona. Welcome to the academy.”

“Oh, thank you very much sir!! I can’t wait to go there.”

Yoona is extremely happy, she feels like flying.

“Yoona, who was it? The academy? You passed the audition?” asked her mom continuously. Yoona put down the phone and hug her mom (tighter than usual) and say, “Omma, I’m gonna be a star!”

“I knew it dear, I always knew..” said Mrs. Im, crying with joy.
